About this Event
Thai Association of Tasmania Inc proudly presents our annual cultural celebration, “Thai Food & Culture Festival 2022”. The event will be held at Civic Square, Launceston from 11 am to 4 pm with plenty of seatings and off street parking.
The event will centre around scrumptious Thai Foods from people behind Thai restaurants across Launceston, beautiful traditional performances, live music, kids crafts, raffles, and more!
Thai Food & Culture Festival is an opportunity to get together with your friends and families and enjoy the best the Thai Community in Tasmania has to offer – traditional Thai foods, delicious Thai desserts, Thai and local beers and non-alcoholic beverages, accompanied by live entertainment and family-friendly activities, all in one place.

– Thai Head, Neck, and Shoulder Massages from the team at Leilaya Thai Hobart. Massage vouchers can be purchased from the Raffles stall

– BYO Picnic blankets/rugs or chairs if you want to sit on the greens
– Tables and chairs also available at the square
Is there any entry fee to the festival?
Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, there’s no entry fees. Gold coin donations is warmly welcomed to contribute the operation of our Association.
Are there minimum age requirements to enter the event?
The event is family friendly event. Although dogs are not prohibited from entering Civic Square, we do ask that all dogs must be on lead and that you have to ensure the safety of your pooches and other patrons while you are attending the Festival.
Can I bring my own alcohol?
No. The event is a licensed event. Alcohol is available for purchase at the venue. No BYO permitted.
