The Thai Food and Culture Festival 2022 was held in November at Launceston Civic Square. With traditional Thai dishes and performances, visitors had the opportunity to immerse themselves in Thai culture right here in the heart of Launceston CBD. At the festival, patrons were able to sample a variety of delicious Thai street eats some of which are not usually available locally here in Tasmania. A variety of cultural activities and demonstrations were held throughout the day. The festival aimed to bring the vibrant colours, sounds, tastes and smells of Thailand alive for its visitors – an experience that is sure to remain with them long after they have gone home.
